Due to the Governor’s most recent proclamation, we are no longer allowed to meet for services in our parking lot. We have been looking at a couple of ways we can still meet (on line of course) and worship together. We think we have found some ways to meet most people’s needs. This Sunday (April 12, 2020) we will be holding our worship service at 10:30 am streaming over Facebook and through a teleconferencing service over the phone line for those who do not have access to Facebook. The streaming over Facebook will be video feed while the teleconferencing will be voice only.
For those wishing to tune in through Facebook, the feed will be broadcasted on the Church’s PUBLIC Facebook page which is called simply “Victory Road Church of Christ”.
For those wishing to use the teleconferencing service, please follow the following instructions:
1) A few minutes before 10:30 am, dial in to the TOLL FREE Number 1-717-275-8940. 2) You will be prompted to enter an ACCESS CODE which is 5525889#. The # (pound sign) at the end is very important so don’t forget to enter it. 3) You will enter the Conference Call and will probably hear music at first, unless you’re late dialing in. You phone will be muted during the entire service so that noise over your phone does not interfere with others trying to listen in. At the end of the service, the conference call will be terminated.
We will try and keep the service simple at first. We are all new at this and we will need to grow and improve as we go along. God willing we will not have to do this too many weeks. We are planning on playing a couple of spiritual songs during the service. We don’t know how they will come across. We will reevaluate them next week after this Sunday’s service. The service schedule will be: Introduction and opening prayer, Song, Lord’s Supper, Sermon, Song, Closing.
We are encouraging you to obtain the unleavened bread and grape juice yourself for the Lord Supper and have it ready to participate with everyone else. We will take it together at the appropriate time.
If you have any prayer requests or urgent announcements that you wish to be made, either call, text, or email them to Charles prior to Sunday.
If you have any questions or concerns about being able to access our service on Sunday, please contact Charles.
